2014 Wasatch County Preparedness Fair - Sept 15

What would you do in an emergency? Come out the 2014 Wasatch County Emergency Preparedness Fair and learn how you can prepare today for the uncertainty of tomorrow.  The fair is September 15, 2014 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Wasatch High School.  The fair is a family event.  More information can be found by clicking the link above.

Admission is a non-perishable food item for the Wasatch County food bank. 

Children's activities include:

  • Making a 72-hour kit
  • Moulage (Fake Wounds)
  • Discounted Flu Shots and Car Seats

Public Hearing Notice - Potential Creation of the Town of Interlaken

Public Notice IS HEREBY given that the Wasatch County Council will hold a public hearing on October 1, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. This hearing will be held in the Midway Community Center Building, 160 West Main Street, Midway Utah. The purpose of the hearing is to call an election again for the potential creation of the Town of Interlaken Utah. They will also hear the feasibility report and questions from the public. Apply for and Manage a Building Permit Online 

The Wasatch County Building Department is pleased to announce their new online building permit system.  You can now apply for a building permit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Once you setup a free account on the portal, you are then able to apply for a permit, upload your plans in pdf format, receive email updates concerning your permit request and manage multiple permit requests from a single portal.

2014 Board of Equalization Information

The 2014 Property Value Assessment notices were mailed the week of July 21, 2014.  If you have questions concerning the assessed market value, you are invited to appear before the Board of Equalization.  Board of Equalization appeals must be filed by September 15, 2015. 2014 Election And Voting Information Portal

2014 is a Federal, State and  County election year.  The Wasatch County Election and Voting information Portal has information on registering to vote, verifying your voting registration, local candidates running for local offices, and links to the State of Utah for information on state and federal office candidates and Utah election laws.  Please exercise your right to vote and participate in your government.

Approved 2014 County Budget Available Online

The Wasatch County Council approved the 2014 budget on December 4, 2013. 

The County provides two budget documents.  The first document is a summary listing of departments and their annual budgets for 2014.  The second document provides the line item detail of each department's budget. This budget information is for Wasatch County Government only and does not contain budget information for Special Service Districts/ Areas in the County.
