Wasatch County has a combined Clerk/Auditor department. The clerk side is responsible for Board of Equalization, Maintaining the county budget, Voting, Business Licenses, Marriage Licenses, and Passports. The Auditor side is responsible for making sure all transactions to/from the county funds are correct and noted.

The Board of Equalization exists to assist property owners in reviewing, and if necessary appealing the Notice of Property Valuation sent to property owners for the purpose of assessing property taxes.
