The county council is the governing body for Wasatch County. It consists of a seven member elected panel that acts as the legislative portion of government.
The county manager is responsible for the day to day operations of Wasatch County. The county manager is an appointed position by the county council and acts as the executive portion of government.
The Information Systems department is responsible for maintaining all computers, servers, video surveillence, phones, and all networking infrastructure of all county buildings and departments. They are also responsible for all addressing (countywide) and all mapping of all unincorporated portions of Wasatch County.
The personnel department is responsible for employment for Wasatch County. They maintain all benefits for employees.
