Planning Office

The Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for providing leadership and professional expertise in land use planning services to Wasatch County residents.  The services including assisting the community in developing the General Plan and administering the Land Use and Development Code to assure quality lifestyle for current residents and future generations.

Mission Statement:
To maintain and enhance the quality of life for County residents, visitors, and business community through the implementation of the General Plan and Wasatch County Land Use and Development Code while providing professional, friendly, and quality customer service to elected and appointed County officials, various boards and the community.

Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment is the designated “appeal authority” for Wasatch County.  They hear appeals of staff’s decisions, conditional use, and consider variances for Land Use and Development Code.

Information and processes for subdividing land, permitting land use and conditional uses.

Development Status

All large development in Wasatch County are listed for information purpose only.  The public can access the list to find out information about each development.  Updating the information on the development list can occur when changes are made.
