Board of Adjustment
A quasi-judicial body charged with the responsibility to provide for just and fair treatment in the administration of the Land Use and Development Code. The Board of Adjustment is the designated “appeal authority” for Wasatch County to decide a land use decision appeal or a variance. Board membership consists of five regular members and two alternate members who are residents of the County. They are recommended by the County Manager and approved by the County Council. This Board meets on the 1st Thursday of each month or as needed. Application to the Board is process through the Planning and Zoning Department. The Planning Department has the responsibility of accepting applications for the Board of Adjustment, setting up meetings and providing staff reports.
Applications are due four weeks before meeting date.
