General Plan

A coordinated plan which has been prepared and adopted by the County for the purpose of identifying present and future needs of the County and guiding the growth and development of land within the county or any part of the county, including uses of land for urbanization, trade, industry, residential, agricultural, wildlife habitat, and other purposes.  Planning Staff review proposals using the General Plan as a guide and updated the General Plan when needed.

Copies of the plan are available in one of three ways:

  • Bound Hardcopy - Available from the Planning Office ($40.00 fee)
  • CD (Document in Adobe pdf format with maps as separate pdf files) - Available from the Planning Office ($15.00 fee)
  • Internet (Document in Adobe pdf format with maps as separate pdf files) - Available below for free.
