Real Property

Our duty as set forth by statute, requires the Assessor's office to evaluate property, at it's respective fair market value as a vehicle for the purpose of taxation.  Equitable assessments assure property owners that they are asked to pay only their fair share of the cost of operating libraries, schools, police protection, and other necessary services.

Property characteristics and other necessary information is stored, updated, and maintained for current and future use in the assessment process.  Our goal is to create the most fair and equitable assessment of your property values.
