Wasatch County Sheriff

The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office proudly serves the citizens and visitors of Wasatch County.
The Sheriff’s Office is divided into three main divisions:
Communications, Corrections and Patrol. Through these divisions, and in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies and civilian entities, the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office strives to protect and serve the public. Each of these divisions serves a vital role in this endeavor.
The Communications Division answers and logs 911 calls, dispatches for multiple law enforcement agencies, and provides life saving medical instructions to callers.
The Corrections Division ensures the safety and security of the jail and provides court security for the Fourth District Court in Wasatch County and the Wasatch County Justice Court. It also conducts transports for prisoners and operates a work program wherein prisoners shovel snow, cut lawns, and clean County-owned facilities.
The Patrol Division responds to calls for service, investigates crime, serves civil process, and patrols the County to preventing crime and enforcing the law. It also maintains the following programs: school resource officer program, canine program, investigations, and BackNET.
