Parade Entry Line-Up Information Sheet


Entries must be turned in by
Thursday, July 23rd


Entries received after this date will be declined! Return your entry and fee to: The Heber Valley Rotary Club - P.O. Box 901 Heber City, Utah 84032.  (All entry fees are used for Heber Valley Rotary Club’s many local and international service projects!)

 


Announcement must be 50 WORDS OR LESS. Longer announcements will be edited!


Refer to the fee schedule on the entry form to determine your entry fee.


You must supply an IDENTIFICATION SIGN on front right side of your entry. All commercial entries must be decorated, please make your entry parade worthy.


Starting Wednesday, July 29th at noon, the parade lineup will be available for all entries in a file box at the Wasatch County Parks & Rec. Office at 90 North 100 West., Heber City, Utah. There will be an alphabetized list of all parade participants on a clipboard with the file box.


Please find:
a) your number in the box and take it with you,
b) the parade line up map,
c) any last minute instructions.


Please initial your entry on the list on the clipboard, be careful to take the correct number, we will not be calling you about your number.


Pick up your number and packet NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, July 31st at noon.


Parade Date & Start Time: Saturday, August 1st at 5:00pm


Line Up Time: 4:00pm - Be on time!!!


The Parade Officials will be wearing orange vests, and will be at the corner of 400 North and Main, by 4:00pm on the night of the parade. If you haven't picked up your assigned number they will be available there.


Park your entry away from the line up and send a runner to get your number. Then move into place.


Refer to the attached map of Heber Main Street and surrounding blocks for your lineup location. It is extremely important that you find your assigned location and line up in the direction the arrows are pointing. Numbers will be posted on wooden stakes along lineup routes the morning of the parade.


Your number must be attached to the front right side of your entry so the announcers will be able to locate the number and read the correct information as the entry passes.


Horse Units: Exit the parade route at 5th S. and travel west to the County Fair Grounds.


All Other Units: Exit the parade at 6th South and travel east to the Wasatch High School east parking


Remember, you are NOT allowed to throw candy from your entry. Walkers may hand candy and flyers to the audience. Your Entry will be removed from the parade and be banned from participation for 2 years if you do not comply with these requirements.
