Wasatch County Email Access

There are two different links for connecting to your email via the web:

  • External
  • Internal

These links are based on which network you are currently connected.  See the link descriptions shown to the right for more information.

There are two versions of Outlook Web Access.

  • The Premium client includes all the functionality and is supported when using Internet Explorer 6 or later.
  • Outlook Web Access Light is available when using browsers such as Firefox, Opera or Safari.

The logon page has an option to select OWA Light rather than the Premium client when using Internet Explorer 6 or later, which may be useful when accessing the system over a slower Internet connection.

There is also an option to specify whether you are accessing the web client from a public computer or a private one. By default public is selected, which means that the session automatically times out after 15 minutes. You should always select logoff and close the browser window when using the web client on a public machine and this time-out setting allows some protection if you forget to do this. Selecting private computer increases the time-out before being disconnected to 8 hours and will also store your username on the machine so that you only have to enter your password when you next logon. Only choose private when accessing the system from your own computer.
